What is a Birth Story?
A birth story is Taylor Lane Photography capturing the birth of your precious little ones in a modest fashion.
When do I need to book?
The sooner the better! Taylor Lane Photography does weddings and lifestyle sessions as well as births, so it is very important to make sure you book ahead!
What if I have a C-Section?
No worries at all! I will follow the hospital’s policy on privacy matters and capture your baby’s arrival in the best way possible!
Do you post on social media?
Your birth is a very vulnerable moment in your life and I can assure you that nothing will be posted unless you have given me permission.
Why should I hire a birth photographer?
Once you go into labor things don’t always go as planned! I have two sweet babies and I can honestly say that I wish I had hired a birth photographer. Things were so rushed and chaotic that the only pictures I have from the most important moments of my life were taken with my mom and mother-in-law’s cell phone. I am grateful that I at least have those, but they by no means show the true raw emotions of my actual births. Having a birth photographer allows you to rest assured that you will have pictures to last a lifetime all the while showing the love and passion of bringing your sweet bundle of joy into the world!
How much do you charge for birth stories?

Taylor Lane Photography offers 3 different birth story packages:
Birth Story $800.00
o Arriving at the hospital when mom is between 5-6 centimeters dilated and staying 1- 1.5 hours after baby is born.
o Includes 75 black and white digital edited images and a print release.
o Gallery will be delivered 3 weeks after delivery via email.
*A deposit will be required upon booking to reserve your birth month. TLP only books one birth per month. Please know that your images will be protected with a passcode and will not be shared unless given permission.
Maternity + Birth Story $1000.00
o A complimentary discounted maternity session typically taken around 30-32 weeks pregnant and a birth story as listed above.
o The maternity session includes a 45-minute session, 2 outfit changes and 40 edited digital files with a print release.
o Arriving at the hospital when mom is between 5-6 centimeters dilated and staying 1- 1.5 hours after baby is born.
o Includes 75 black and white digital edited images and a print release.
. o Gallery will be delivered 2 weeks after delivery via email.
Maternity + Birth Story + Newborn $1300.00
o A complimentary discounted maternity session and newborn session as well as birth story.
o The maternity session is typically taken around 30-32 weeks pregnant and includes a 45-minute session, 2 outfit changes and 40 edited digital files with a print release.
o Arriving at the hospital when mom is between 5-6 centimeters dilated and staying 1- 1.5 hours after baby is born.
o Includes 75 black and white digital edited images and a print release. .
o Gallery will be delivered 2 weeks after delivery via email.
o Booking this package includes a lifestyle newborn session taken at my studio in Jennings. This session includes 50 digital edited images with a print release.
*Booking this package saves you a total of $100.00 and allows you to receive baby’s milestone pictures at a discounted price. If you decide on this package an information template on newborn sessions will be emailed over!
Please understand that Taylor Lane Photography will take modest shots during delivery and the photos that are given will be in black and white. Taylor Lane Photography will take side shots of the delivery and capture the sweetest moments in the most modest way possible.
Taylor Lane Photography does offer fresh 48 photography as well. A fresh 48 session is taken at the hospital once the baby is born. This session allows for pictures to be taken of baby as well as baby with mom, dad, siblings, family and friends.
